INSTRUCTIONS & QUESTIONNAIRE
Thank you for your interest in submitting a request for endorsement. Candidates are required to answer all questions on the Candidate Questionnaire. If the question does not apply, please mark N/A. Once completed and submitted, the Committee will review the Questionnaire and contact the Candidate for next steps.

The questionnaire is a Google document and must be completed and signed by the candidate.
Please direct any questions to our Chair of Endorsements, Tamiko Heim, at endorsement@nwpcsac.org.

Candidates may also send any campaign literature or additional information on their personal background (occupation, education, family, community involvement, accomplishments), as desired, to help the endorsement committee understand political positions, qualifications, and chances for election. Candidates may submit the necessary documentation, but it is preferable to keep it to a minimum.
CANDIDATE INTERVIEWS & ENDORSEMENT
Eligible candidates will be invited to an interview with the Endorsement Committee which may be conducted in-person or virtually via Zoom. The interview is required before the Endorsement Committee can recommend endorsement to the NWPC Sacramento Board of Directors and membership.
PREVIOUSLY ENDORSED ELECTED OFFICIALS
NWPC does not endorse challengers to a previously endorsed elected official seeking re-election unless the elected official has performed in conflict to our goals or is no longer a viable candidate. NWPC Sacramento reserves the right to re-interview previously endorsed candidates.
